A scoping visit from the Argentine Families Commission has been taking place in the Falklands. All Government departments are preparing their plans for the next three years. This exercise is not new to SHG but this year, things are somewhat different. Departments have adopted and are working to a new, strategic approach to planning what they do. This should allow St Helena to provide better plans and budget requests and to secure the money needed to maintain and develop crucial services for the Island.
