1: Falklands Summary of Executive Council Meeting 24th April 2008 - Falklands (Legal) - 01.05.2008
The budget policy paper for 2008/09 was considered this month, as it normally is, and following a number of recommendations, was referred to the Budget Select Committee. An outstanding application for a further fund transfer was also considered and referred to the Budget Select Committee.

In 2005 a draft new Constitution of St Helena was prepared. It would have introduced a system of ministerial government. But the people of St Helena rejected that proposed change in a consultative poll. In doing so they also rejected a great deal of potential improvement that had nothing to do with ministerial government.
