A well-earned achievement for James Tyrrell who this month was awarded the Argos Junior Trophy, this is an award presented to under 18’s who the committee believe had shown the most improvement in score, attendance and character.

A well-earned achievement for James Tyrrell who this month was awarded the Argos Junior Trophy, this is an award presented to under 18’s who the committee believe had shown the most improvement in score, attendance and character. James is a newcomer to the club and has shown continuing efforts in his shooting, 


 


Previous winners of this award have been Tamsin McLeod and Michaela Clifford. Many Thanks goes to Argos Ltd for their continued sponsorship; and to Sheila for taking up her Sunday morning to present this award.


 


Saddle Direct Portsmouth Competition


 


 Archery Club had their indoor competition last Friday sponsored by Saddle Direct, 16 entries taking part in the Portsmouth round  –Some good scores were recorded. A  Personal Best for Mike. The Committee would like to thank Dave and John of Saddle Direct for their sponsorship, Terri for the presentation of the prizes, Margaret for being range captain.  The Archery club shoots on Wednesday and Friday evenings and Sunday mornings. If you are 10 years or older and would like to “have a go “ come along to the Leisure Centre at 9 am any Sunday morning.
