Last weekend people enjoyed a very pleasant dolphin tour in the sunshine. There are still the following opportunities to see the island from the sea, and try out a new experience...


Saturday 28 January, 7.00am at the Wharf Steps – Sport Fishing


Come and try your hand at catching some of the fish in the waters off the island. And you get to keep what is caught. You can join the trip at 4.00am to catch bait, or at 7.00am for fishing.


£25.00 pp (maximum of 6 places)


 


Friday 3 February, 5.00pm at the Wharf Steps – Sundowner cruise


Enjoy a relaxing evening cruise along the island’s coast to watch the sun set, before returning at around 7.00pm


 


 


£7.00pp (maximum of 20 places)

Visit of MS Silver Whisper, Sunday 29 January


 


The cruise ship Silver Whisper will be visiting St Helena on Sunday from 7.00am to 1.00pm. Many shops, restaurants and services will be open during the visit, so you may well like to make use of these too. These will include –


Bank of St Helena 9.00 – 12.00


Post Office 8.00 – 1.00


 


In addition, the Consulate, Ann’s Place, the Inkwell, the Coffee Shop and St James Church will all be open for refreshments. Refreshments will also be available on Longwood Green, courtesy of Harford Community Centre

Brighten up Jamestown with plants and flowers outside your property or your business, and you could win one of the great prizes offered by The Governor and St Helena Tourism.
