NEW ISP CONTRACTOR FOR INTERSERVE

Ministry of Defence has announced that Interserve Defence Ltd has been awarded the five year ISP contract to run The Naval Base. In Gibraltar.

An MoD spokesman said: “In October 2010, the Ministry of Defence invited companies to tender for the Infrastructure Support Provider (ISP) contracts for Gibraltar, the Falkland Islands, Cyprus and Ascension Island once the existing ISP contracts had expired. He went on to say that “Yesterday, the Ministry of Defence signed an ISP contract with Interserve Defence Ltd to cover a period of five years. The handover period will begin in November 2012.”
