A formal meeting of Legislative Council will take place on Friday 2nd September at 10am, at the Court House in Jamestown, and will be broadcast live via Radio St Helena.

A formal meeting of Legislative Council will take place on Friday 2nd September at 10am, at the Court House in Jamestown, and will be broadcast live via Radio St Helena.
This will be a special meeting of Legislative Council with the main purpose being to elect a new Chairman of the Education and Employment Committee. This follows the recent resignation of the Honourable Tony Green as Chairman of that Committee.
All Councillors, the Acting Chief Secretary, Gillian Francis, Financial Secretary, Paul Blessington, and the Attorney General, Ken Baddon will be in attendance.
During this sitting there will be no questions or motions but three Sessional Papers will be presented.
The meeting will conclude with the customary Adjournment Debate.
The last meeting of Legislative Council took place on Friday 22nd July and Monday 25th July 2011.
