The present Head of the Governor’s Office, Ernie Manley will leave St Helena on completion of his posting on 12th April 2011.
New Head of Governor’s Office
The present Head of the Governor’s Office, Ernie Manley will leave St Helena on completion of his posting on 12th April 2011. His successor is Clive McGill, who arrived at St Helena on 3rd April, accompanied by his wife Angela, and Tandy, their pet beagle.
Clive has worked for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office since 1978 and has worked in Belize, Sweden, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Kosovo, Turkmenistan, Philippines and most recently Iraq.
Clive will be in post for two years.
