St Helena Government Complaints Procedure

The St Helena Government has published a complaints procedure which gives guidelines on how to bring your formal complaints against SHG. The guidelines along with the necessary complaints form can be downloaded from the St Helena Government website at www.sainthelena.gov.sh  under the “About Us” section.  Copies are also available from the Receptionist at the Castle and the Public Library.

Gillian Francis, Acting Chief Secretary said that the procedure sets out how a complaint can be lodged and the timeframe for SHG to provide a response.

The complaints procedure will take effect from 1 April 2011 and will apply to the whole of the public service with the exception of the Hospital and Outpatient Services, for which there is a separate procedure already in place.
