Fishing News

After waiting for several days for suitable fishing weather, the dong rang on Monday the 26th for the first day of the fishing season, the usual fleet of nine boats went out and landed 3.4mt between them.  The top boat was Verkenner with crew Clive and Ricky landing 480kgs.  The entire lobster product was turned into tails, as the pipeline that transported the water for the tanks at the factory, is still being installed after the damage from the last storm.

Tuesday the 27th July the weather is more settled and is another fishing day, so we are expecting the catches to be higher than yesterday.
