Public Sector Modernisation to Start with Return of Sarah Holloway

Public Sector Modernisation Adviser and Team Leader, Sarah Holloway, returned to St Helena on the RMS at Easter to start a 33-month Public Sector Modernisation Programme for the St Helena Government. The Department For International Development is funding this major project.

Andrew Wells, Chief Secretary said “The Office of the Chief Secretary is looking forward to the second phase of the programme when various action agreed during Sarah’s earlier visits will be implemented in support of SHG’s quest to become more efficient and effective.”

Sarah will shortly be joined by Liz Johnson, Human Resources Adviser and Dr Andrew Wyatt, Public Policy Adviser.

Government employees will notice a quick difference since PSMP Advisers will also work within departments and will suggest practical ways to improve working methods.
