Falklands : Peat-Cutting Monday Craft Exhibition

The Old Globe Warehouse will be busy on Peat Cutting Monday.

PEAT-CUTTING MONDAY CRAFT EXHIBITION

The Old Globe Warehouse will be the venue of an open house and display of the work and activities of the Visit of Rev. Andrew Johnson, who is a Shackleton Quality of Life Scholar.  Rev Johnson and a team of craft enthusiasts from the Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Handicrafts will be on hand at the warehouse on Monday, 01 October 2007.


 


Since arriving in Mid September Andrew has been conducting workshops in a variety of textile techniques in Camp and in Stanley.  He has also visited the schools.
