Sergeant Dave Roberts of the Royal Falkland Islands Police updates us on the latest police activity.


 


At 0750hrs on Tuesday, 10 July 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of an RTA that happened at 2230hrs on Monday, 09 July 2007.  Both parties are dealing with the incident through insurance.


 


At 0839hrs on Tuesday, 10 July 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a lost dog.  The Royal Falkland Islands Police would like to advise Dog owners to keep their animals under control and there is legislation regarding securing dogs on the owner’s property.


 


At 1504hrs on Wednesday, 11 July 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of damage to the Moody Brook pumping station.  It looks as if the damage was done by a vehicle.  This incident is under investigation and if anyone has information please give Sergeant Roberts a call on 28100.


 


At 1606hrs on Wednesday, 11 July 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a loose dog on Philomel Street.


 


At 1606hrs on Wednesday, 11 July 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a request for medical assistance at the FICS.  KEMH staff dealt with the incident.


 


At 1231hrs on Thursday, 12 July 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a vehicle driving eratically and at speed on Pioneer Row.  Officers located the driver and gave him a warning.


 


At 1945hrs on Friday, 13 July 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a RTA on Ross Road when one vehicle collided into another. 


 


At 2257hrs on Friday, 13 July 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of naked males at the Public Jetty and on Ross Road.  Police attended and warned the men about the dangers of skinni dipping in the harbour especially in the winter.


 


At 0103hrs on Saturday, 14 July 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a request for medical assistance outside Hillside Camp.  KEMH staff dealt with the incident.


 


At 2217hrs on Saturday, 14 July 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a vehicle driving at excessive speed on Ross Road East.  Officers located the driver and warned him about his excessive speed.


 


At 1157hrs on Sunday, 15 July 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a single vehicle RTA causing damage to a fence.  The driver and the owner of the fence are dealing with the incident through insurance.


 


At 0947hrs on Monday, 16 July 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a vehicle shedding its load at the junction of the FIPASS Road and the Airport Road.  Officers attended and the situation was resolved.


 


At 1144hrs on Monday, 16 July 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report from the EOD that they will either deal with a landmine in situ or remove the mine.
