After questionning crew who jumped ship in Stanley Harbour on Monday, an Arrest was made aborard the vessel this morning.

JIH DA GAN
At 0834 hours this morning, Saturday 24 February 2007, police officers attended the Fishing Vessel JIH DA GAN, when it berthed at FIPASS. A member of the crew was arrested and taken to Stanley Police Station. The vessel is now a crime scene and police Scenes of Crimes Officers will be working on her throughout the day.
A translator will arrive in the Falklands later today to enable the Royal Falkland Islands Police to interview the arrested person.
Efforts continue to locate the bodies of the two seamen who are believed to have perished when they jumped from the JIH DA GAN on Monday afternoon.
