Before departing St Helena, Governor Clancy issued a Proclamation, on 20 December 2006, declaring that the Second Session of the Legislative Council is to take place on Monday 29 January 2007 commencing at 10am.

Announcing Next Meeting of Legislative Council
Before departing St Helena, Governor Clancy issued a Proclamation, on 20 December 2006, declaring that the Second Session of the Legislative Council is to take place on Monday 29 January 2007 commencing at 10am.
The meeting will take place at the Court House in Jamestown and all of Legislative Council will be in attendance to deal with the business of the day.
As normal, the session will be broadcast live via Radio St Helena.
The Proclamation has been issued in accordance with subsection (1) of section 40 of Schedule 1 to the St Helena (Constitution) Order, 1988.
