Sergeant Dave Roberts of the Royal Falkland Islands Police updates us on the latest police activity.


 


At 1211hrs on Monday, 17 July 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a stolen bicycle on Pioneer Row.  The bicycle was found and returned to the owner.  The Royal Falkland Islands Police remind all bike owners to lock their bikes up when they are not in use.  There are several locking devices on the market that will do the job.


 


At 0242hrs on Tuesday, 18 July 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a request for medical assistance on Thatcher Drive.  KEMH staff dealt with the incident.


 


At 1711 Hours on Thursday, 20 July 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a large amount of smoke in the Southeast section of Stanley.  Police report that smoke lingered in the air due to calm weather not dissipating smoke from chimneys.


 


At 0758hrs on Sunday, 23 July 2006 the Royal Falkland Island Police received a report that a large piece of wood was floating in the harbour in the vicinity of the Capstan Gift Shop.  Harbour Patrol dealt with the incident.


 


At 1548hrs on Sunday, 23 July 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of an ordinance find on the Murrell Road.  EOD dealt with the ordinance.


 


The D.A.R.E. Graduation will take place at the Infant Junior School at 1700hrs on Thursday, 03 August 2006.  Acting Governor Ms. Harriet Hall will hand out the certificates.
