Jelly Tots Fancy Dress

Gov. Nelson I presume?
The Jelly tots Fancy Dress Party, supported by a very generous donation by Cable and Wireless, was held in the Town Hall on Sunday June 25th. More than 75 children aged from very small to year six, dressed up in a huge variety of spectacular costumes. Lots of family, friends and spectators came along to support them, where the judges, Councillor Richard Cockwell, Denise Kemp and Lesley Barrett had the unenviable and difficult job of judging all the children in ten categories!
The children who dressed up all received rosettes to acknowledge huge amount of work and imagination that had gone into creating their costumes. Prizes and rosettes were presented by Mrs Jo Ellick, Customer Services Manager for Cable and Wireless.

The Town Hall looked great, decorated by the children of Jelly Tots and with pictures of previous Children’s Fancy Dress Parties. The children enjoyed sitting down for juice and party food after parading in their costumes, many had their faces painted by Dominique Giudicelli.
Jelly Tots have twice weekly play sessions in the Parish Hall for children from Birth to Five years with their Parents or Carers. New Members are really welcome to come along to take the opportunity to play, chat have tea or coffee in a different environment.
Jelly tots would like to thank Cable and Wireless for their very generous sponsorship of the event, to the Judges for doing such a difficult job, and most of all to the Children who dressed up, and those who helped them create such excellent costumes.
