Falklands : Chief Justice Announces Retirement

Chief Justice James Wood will be retiring in July 2006.

CHIEF JUSTICE ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT

It was announced on Friday, 27 January 2006 that Chief Justice James Wood will be retiring in July 2006.  This current trip will be his last to the Falklands as Chief Justice.  Chief Justice Wood was the Senior Magistrate in the Falklands in the early to mid ‘90s.


 


Chief Justice Wood left Stanley to spend a few days at Darwin prior to his departure from the Falklands.
