MEDIA TRAINING IN FEBRUARY ANNOUNCED

By J. Brock (FINN)

The Public Relations Office is organising media training in February; and
sessions are available on the afternoon of 11th Feb. Media training was held in 2013 just before the referendum and several attended business people in their capacities as company directors.

Media Training would be a commitment of one afternoon, and the it would cover general media tips, radio interviewing, panel interviews and crisis interviewing.

There would be no cost to the attendees for taking part.

This training is to enable our Islanders (whether they are FIG employees, private sector or members of the public) to confidently and capably speak about the Falklands and their relevant Falklands fields within a media interview setting. Our best ambassadors for the Islands are the Islanders themselves, so we hope that this training will equip them with the skills and confidence they may need.

If any interested persons could contact either or Emily in the PR Office to discuss the training opportunities. The Public Relations Office would be more than willing to explain a little more.
