St Helena : PUBLIC INFORMATION SESSIONS- CONSTITUTIONAL REFORM & UTILITIES DIVESTMENT

The public are reminded that Public Information Sessions on the proposed changes to the Constitution and the Divestment of Utilities (water and electricity) conclude this week. The information sessions are held in order to inform the public and discuss both issues, and members of the public are encouraged to attend.

Reminder – PUBLIC INFORMATION SESSIONS- CONSTITUTIONAL REFORM & UTILITIES DIVESTMENT


 


The public are reminded that Public Information Sessions on the proposed changes to the Constitution and the Divestment of Utilities (water and electricity) conclude this week. The information sessions are held in order to inform the public and discuss both issues, and members of the public are encouraged to attend.


 


The remaining information sessions will all be held at 7: 30pm in the following venues:


 


Jamestown Community Centre This evening, Monday 21 January


Half Tree Hollow Community Centre Tuesday 22 January


Sandy Bay Community Centre Wednesday 23 January


Information papers on both issues – a draft Bill to establish a Utilities Regulatory Authority and the document on Constitutional reform, ‘Improving Democracy and Accountability’, along with a related slideshow, are available in various outlets around the Island:
