Derek Henry has joined the Office of the Chief Secretary’s (OCS) team as Manager of Central Administration with effect from today, 23 August 2010.

Derek Henry has joined the Office of the Chief Secretary’s (OCS) team as Manager of Central Administration with effect from today, 23 August 2010.
Derek, who for the past six and a half years held the position of Headmaster of Prince Andrew School, has completed his contract with the Education Department and decided to pursue a new career path in administration.
The Manager of Central Administration has effectively replaced the post of Senior Assistant Secretary the duties of which have been undertaken by Bobby Essex for the past two and a half years.
Bobby will remain in the OCS until end of September during which time he will be handing over to Derek.
Derek will also be assuming the responsibilities of Acting Deputy Chief Secretary until the substantive holder relinquishes the Acting Chief Secretary position.
The OCS welcomes Derek to the team and looks forward to working with him.
