By J. Brock (FINN)

Team Tranquil is holding a Supper Dance to commemorate World Mental Health Day on Friday, 10 October 2008.  This Supper Dance with a difference features a choir from the Community School under the direction of Mrs Shirley Adams-Leach, Robert Rowlands music and a stint by the Fighting Pig Band. Spot prizes will be awarded during the dance. A special feature of the evening will be the raffle draw for a helicopter ride, FIGAS Flights and weekends at Port Howard Lodge and Carcass Island.  Other prizes include felt-work, jewellery and much, much more.

Tickets for the dance as well as Raffle Tickets can be bought at the Pod Gift Shop, The Seamen’s Mission, The Chandlary, and from Karen Rimicans.  Barring that, you can stop by the Falkland Islands News Network at 16 John Street to purchase tickets to the Supper Dance.

Dinner Dance Tickets are £12.50 each and doors open at the Town Hall at 7:30PM for five hours of Dinner, Music, Dancing and prizes.  Dress requirements are smart casual.
