S.Georgia : BSES Volunteers off to South Georgia

David Nicholls is scouting out possible areas to climb in South Georgia and he is bringing some volunteers with him.

BSES VOLUNTEERS OFF TO SOUTH GEORGIA

 

 

 

The team: James Holtom, David Charlton, Mike Devlin, David Nicholls, Kate Emeny and Jim Hill.

A team of six are off to South Georgia in order to scout out rock climbing and mountain climbing venues for a small BSES contingent that is due in South Georgia in 2006. 

 

The Expedition Leader, David Nicholls, will be accompanied by Mike Devlin, Jim Hill, Kate Emeny, James Holtom and David Charlton.

 

While in the Falklands the team has visited several places in Stanley as well as attending a lecture by Dr. David Walton of British Antarctic Survey.
