Very basic changing facilities will be available. Hot soup, tea & coffee will be on sale.

The ENTRY FEE for the SWIM is £5.00 and orders will be taken for Adult & Children’s Tee-shirts, Polo Shirts and Baseball Caps which are extra to the Entry Fee but optional. Orders from Participants only! These will be Cash or Cheque sales only.

Participants and Spectators should note that if weather and sea conditions are not suitable, the event may be postponed to the 24th or even the following weekend. Participants are strongly advised not to consume any alcoholic drink before the event.

‘Certificates of Lunacy’ signed (very kindly) by the Governor of the Falkland Islands will be issued within the week following the swim.

The MIDWINTER SWIM is a popular annual event and is held on the Saturday closest to the Winter Solstice. The event raises funds for the Stanley Seamans Mission (FI Charity C8) and the Falklands Sea Cadets (FI Charity C16).

The Organiser of the Event for 2012 is CPO (SCC) John Clifford. To whom any questions should be forwarded, telephone +(500) 51111 or Email xo@tsendurance.org.fk
