MEDIA TRAINING FOR ST HELENA

Malcolm Russell, visiting media professional from Broadcast Development Group in South Africa is currently on Island filming the Governor’s Cup Yacht Race for Supersport. Malcolm has agreed to run two workshops for persons with an interest in media.

The first workshop will provide an opportunity to learn how the media works in general on a “guided discovery” basis. The second workshop will be more about radio.

This is an opportunity not to be missed by existing and budding radio producers/presenters and journalists.

The workshops will be held at the Education Learning Centre (Ex Jamestown First School) Hall on Thursday 16 December and Tuesday 21 December from 9am to 4pm on both days.
