Julian Yon has won the Spinning Wheel Trophy at the Susan Whitley Annual Exhibition held at the Infant/ Junior School and the Community School on the weekend of 03 and 04 July 2010. The Ex was also open on Monday.

Julian Yon has won the Spinning Wheel Trophy at the Susan Whitley Annual Exhibition held at the Infant/ Junior School and the Community School on the weekend of 03 and 04 July 2010. The Ex was also open on Monday.
Julian’s entry was a tool box with several drawers in it. He took several months to successfully complete the project.
The standard this year was very good, with years 8 and 11 putting in exceptional work.
Kylie East and Nikita Whistler won the Alice Keenleyside Trophy with a picture made from a pre-cut square. Hillary Pauloni’s Needlework Prize was won by Thoran Harte, whose work was also entered in the Alistair Cameron History Competition under the History of weaving in the Falklands. Mrs Pauloni’s prize for Camp Education was won by Tyler Hobman.
