Falkland Islands Exposed on display at Jetty Visitor Centre

The winners of the Falklands Exposed photography competition have been selected from 1,300 images and along with more than 120 finalist's pictures are now on display at the Jetty Visitors Centre.

With the final decisions made Paul Trowell, General Manager of the Falkland Islands Tourist Board said “It has been extremely difficult to select the best from what was an excellent selection of photographs.  It has given me a fantastic insight into what’s on offer in the Falklands not only as a destination, but also as a lifestyle”

The display at the Jetty Visitor Centre offers an extraordinary exhibition which showcases the Falklands landscape, wildlife and lifestyle from every imaginable angle through the eyes of Islanders, short term residents and visitors alike.

The Jetty Visitors Centre is open from 10am to 3pm on Saturday; 11am to 3pm on Sunday and 11am until 2.30pm weekdays, apart from Monday when it is closed all day.

Winners and pictures of each category can also be seen displayed in full colour in the centre pages of the Penguin News.
