Falklands : 22 Honoured at Government House Presentation

A vocational presentation evening was held at Government House on Tuesday, 01 September 2009, where a group of 5 young apprentices, 12 15 to 25 year olds and 5 adults received Key Skills, IVQ and NVQ certificates.

Students who received certificates on Tuesday night.

 

A vocational presentation evening was held at Government House on Tuesday, 01 September 2009, where a group of 5 young apprentices, 12 15 to 25 year olds and 5 adults received Key Skills, IVQ and NVQ certificates.

 

H. E. The Governor Mr Alan Huckle handed out the certificates to:

 

Chloe Ford for Key Skills Level 1 (6 Areas: Application of Number, Communications, ICT, Working with Others, Problem Solving and Improving Own Learning and Performance)

 

Cheveze Goodwin (not present) for Key Skills Level 1 (6 Areas: Application of Number, Communications, ICT, Working with Others, Problem Solving and Improving Own Learning and Performance)

 

Corey Bagley for Key Skills Level 1 - Communications, ICT, Working with Others, Problem Solving and Improving Own Learning and Performance

 

Cameron Goodwin for Key Skills Level 1 - (5 Areas: Communications, ICT, Working with Others, Problem Solving and Improving Own Learning and Performance)

 

Brandon Greenough for Key Skills Level 1 - Communications, ICT, Working with Others, Problem Solving and Improving Own Learning and Performance

 

Dylan Stephenson for Key Skills Level 1 – (4 Areas: Communications, ICT, Working with Others, Problem Solving)

 

Tylor Tellez (not present) for Key Skills Level 1 - - Communications, ICT, Working with Others, Problem Solving and Improving Own Learning and Performance

 

Mark Dodd for Key Skills 1 and 2 plus IVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery

 

Duane Evans for Level 2 Certificate in Basic Plumbing, Key Skills Level 2 – Application of Number

 

Jane Goss for ICA Level 1 in Painting and Decorating (also passed NVQ Level 2 awaiting certificates as well as part of Key Skills)

 

Simon Lardon for Key Skills 1 and 2 plus IVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery

 

Callum Middleton for Key Skills 1 and 2 and IVQ Level 1 in Electrical

 

Christian Minto for Key Skills 1 and 2

 

Shane Mitchell for Key Skills 1 and 2 and NVQ 1 in Catering  (he has passed NVQ Level 2)

 

Joleen Morrison for Key Skills 1 and 2 and NVQ Level 2 in Tourism

 

Keiran Morrison for Key Skills 1 and 2 plus IVQ Level 2 exams in Plumbing

 

Matthew Nethercott (not present) who completed NVQ Level 2 in Sports but no certificate yet

 

Jane Goss received the Nick Barret Award from Chichester College and Apprentice of the Year for 2008.  Shane Mitchell  received the Apprentice Achievement Award 2008.

 

NVQ Awards for Adults were then presented.  Gene Berntsen received an IVQ for Carpentry and Joinery Level 2 (principles Paper 1 and 2)

 

Timothy George received an IVQ in Plumbing

Jeannie McKay received Business Admin Level 4

Caroline McLaren received Business Admin Level 1 and 2

Veronica Sinclair received Business Administration Level 3
