By J. Brock (FINN)

A 16 year-old youth, who escaped custody earlier today, has been found safe and well. The   Royal Falkland Islands Police issued an all points bulletin concerning the youth, who previously escaped police custody at approximately 1410hrs on Thursday, 02 July 2009.

The Youth, a sixteen year old, was believed to be wearing a grey track suit, flip-flops and a beanie –style tartan hat – not the best attire for winter walking.  The bulletin described him as 6ft tall, with ash blond short-cropped hair and slight build.

Community help was much needed, and though he was not believed to be dangerous, they were advised not to approach him.  It was community help that finally brought the youth safely back to the prison.  The Royal Falkland Islands Police would like to thank all involved in the youth's safe return.
