St Helena : Sheriff Appointed

Governor Hollamby has appointed Mrs Greta Pat Musk MBE JP, to be Sheriff of St Helena for another year. The appointment takes effect from 1 January 2004.

Gov. Hollamby Witnesses the Swearing-in of the new Sheriff

Governor Hollamby has appointed Mrs Greta Pat Musk MBE JP, to be Sheriff of St Helena for another year. The appointment takes effect from 1 January 2004.

On Tuesday of this week, Mrs Musk took the prescribed oaths at the Castle in the presence of Governor Hollamby.

Mrs Musk is St Helena’s first female sheriff, and she has held this position since 14 September 1994. This will be her tenth year as Sheriff of St Helena.

In speaking about her appointment she said: "I’ve enjoyed taking on this role, it has been an honour to do it."
