Air Safety Support International (ASSI) is a wholly owned, not-for-profit, subsidiary company of the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority, charged with the oversight of civil aviation safety regulation within the UK’s Overseas Territories, and working from offices in the UK and the British Virgin Islands.
With the retirement in June 2009 of the current Chief Executive Officer, we are seeking a Chief Executive Officer to provide continuing strategic leadership and direction for ASSI, representing the interests of UK Government at a variety of international and national forum and ensuring that the direction of the Secretary of State is enacted. Reporting to the Board, you will be responsible for the implementation of the organisation’s business plan, ensuring the achievement of performance against business plans, budgets and operational targets.
You will be an experienced Senior Manager with exposure to the international aviation industry at a strategic level and have an aviation regulatory background. With the proven skills to deliver against performance targets, you will have had significant financial accountability in previous roles and a record of success on international projects.
