Ascension : Former Ascension Councillor Disappears

Former Ascension Island Councillor, Mrs Iva Henry, wife of former Councillor Lawson Henry of Georgetown, has disappeared from her home early hours of Friday 19th December.

FORMER ASCENSION COUNCILLOR DISAPPEARS

Former Ascension Island Councillor, Mrs Iva Henry, wife of former Councillor Lawson Henry of Georgetown, has disappeared from her home early hours of Friday 19th December.  Inspector Reginald Williams of the Ascension Island Police Detachment said that both land and sea searches have been undertaken without success.

 

No decision has been taken regarding how long the search will go on but Police on Ascension will report any developments to the public in due course.  The Administrator of Ascension, Mr Ross Denny, said that no time limit has been given for how long the search will continue.

 

When contacted n Monday Mr Lawson Henry said that Mrs Henry still had not been found but the search continues and there is still hope.

 

Inspector Williams has thanked everyone who thus far helped to find Mrs Henry.
