CHARITY BALL ART EXHIBITION HELD AT THE TOWN HALL

By J. Brock (FINN)

The Falklands Conservation Charity Ball Artwork Exhibition was open to invited guests on Thursday evening from 1800 to 2000.  On display were artwork items as well as photographs and a slide presentation about oiled Penguins.  Indeed, some of the artwork’s proceeds will go to the Oiled penguin Appeal, with other items raising money for the Shallow Marine Survey Group.

Invited guests including H. E. the Governor and Mrs Huckle also enjoyed complementary wine as they viewed items donated by several businesses and individuals.

Invited guests were encouraged to bid on items marked with a red dot, while other items will be auctioned on the night of the FI Conservation Ball.

SeaLed PR organised the Event for Falklands Conservation.  The exhibition will be open to the public on Friday.
