Baroness Warwick and Nigel Evans MP have visited the Falklands as part of the Armed Forces Parliamentary Scheme.
MPS VISIT THE FALKLANDS

Baroness Diana Warwick (Lab) and Mr Nigel Evans MP (Con)have visited the Falklands as guests of the Military at Mount Pleasant as part of the Armed Forces Parliamentary Scheme (AFPS). While in the Falklands the MPs got hands on knowledge about many aspects of Military life in the Falklands and had the opportunity to see the Military in action.
The two members of parliament arrived on the air-bridge and visited all the departments at Mount Pleasant Complex, had a few days in Stanley, where they dined with H. E. the Governor Mr Alan and Mrs Helen Huckle and went to Camp.
The familiarisation visit included briefings and tours of Army, Royal Navy and Royal Airforce facilities at Mount Pleasant Complex.
