Stanley was treated to an excellent display of airmanship on Monday, 25 August 2008 when a VC-10 did a fly-past over Stanley Harbour.
The event marked 25 Years that the flight had been stationed at Mount Pleasant Complex.
The fly-past was originally scheduled for Wednesday, 20 August 2008 but it had to be postponed due to bad weather.
Also in the sky was a Lynx Helicopter from HMS Liverpool with a Military photographer aboard.
