Falklands : Hydrocarbons Daily Record Tuesday, 13 May 2008

Crude prices increased today on reports that Iran might decrease production.

HYDROCARBONS DAILY RECORD TUESDAY, 13 MAY 2008

By J. Brock (FINN)

At 1930hrs LMT on Tuesday, 13 May 2008 Light Sweet Crude was trading at $125.80 up $1.57 on the New York Mercantile Exchange.  Brent Crude was trading at $123.92 up $1.01 on London’s ICE Futures Market.

ANALYSIS:

Crude prices increased today on reports that Iran might decrease production.  It is thought that if demand is going down that production should go down as well as it is better to keep crude at source than where it could damage the environment.  There’s no need to pump it out until demand warrants it.
