APPEAL FOR LOCAL ST HELENIAN

By J. Brock (FINN)

An appeal for money in aid of a man suffering from Cancer and his family has been launched in Stanley.  According to Christine Scipio-O'Dean, Nick Ellick has been diagnosed with stomach cancer which has spread to his liver and pancreas. The family has been advised by KEMH that no further treatment will be given to Nick but they are not ready to give up the fight.

Mrs Scipio-O'Dean went on to say that Nick, Jo, Ophelia and Laquisha will be travelling to the UK later this month for a second opinion and also for further reviews.

“If you would like to support this family,” she said, “a bank account has been set up with the Standard Chartered Bank called "The Nick Ellick Appeal" account number  202-010-181-000. All donations would be greatly appreciated.”

Further information can be obtained by contacting Martin Plato on 55716 or Christine Scipio-O'Dean on 52709.
