Br.Ant.Territory : M/V EXPLORER TRAVELLERS TO FLY TO PUNTA ARENAS FROM MARSH BASE

Passengers from the stricken M/S EXPLORER have been safely evacuated to the cruise ship M/S NORD NORGE and are, at present, on their way to Marsh Base on King George Island, where they are expected to fly to Punta Arenas in Chile.

M/V EXPLORER TRAVELLERS EXPECTED TO FLY TO PUNTA ARENAS FROM MARSH BASE

 Passengers from the stricken M/S EXPLORER have been safely evacuated to the cruise ship M/S NORD NORGE and are, at present, on their way to Marsh Base on King George VI Island, where they are expected to fly to Punta Arenas in Chile.

It has been confirmed that the evacuees will be flown - weather permitting - to Punta Arenas in Chile from Marsh Base on King George Island.
