Falklands : Workboat Services Welcomes a New Company Manager
Submitted by Falkland Islands News Network (Juanita Brock) 28.10.2007 (Article Archived on 11.11.2007)

Adam Cockwell will take up his post shortly.

WORKBOAT SERVICES WELCOMES NEW COMPANY MANAGER

By J. Brock (FINN)

Workboat Services Limited have announced that Adam Cockwell will be joining the Company as Company Manager later this year.

Adam comes well qualified as he grew up on West Falklands and after eight years in the fishing industry has for the past four years managed his own business in the IT sector.

In due course Adam will be arranging to call on people and organisations associated with Coastal Shipping and also where possible on residents of Island farms who may have particular issues to discuss with him.

In other Workboat Services news, work on the conversion of ‘Concordia Bay’ and discussion with the Marine Coastguard Agency is underway and satisfactory progress is being made. The major nature of the work required may result in some minor delay in the arrival of the vessel here but every effort is being made to keep this to a minimum.
