Sergeant Tom Whistler of the Royal Falkland Islands Police updates us on the latest police activity.


 


At 2258hrs on Friday, 19 October 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received an anonymous phone call about youths on Racecourse Road placing traffic cones and large stones in the middle of the road.  Officers attended and found no one.  They removed the cones and stones.  If anyone has information about this incident, please give Sergeant Whistler a call on 28100.


 


At 0904hrs on Saturday, 20 October 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a phone call from a resident on Ross Road West reporting criminal damage to her Polly-tunnel.  The damage caused was believed to be by a traffic cone.  If anyone has information about this incident, please give Sergeant Whistler a call on 28100.


 


At 2145hrs on Saturday, 20 October 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report from a resident on Jersey Road that there were intruders in the garden as well as the garden of Stanley Kidz Zone.  Officers attended and found no one.


 


The Royal Falkland Islands Police would like to remind the public that entering a property without prior permission is Trespassing – a civil offence.  Entering a property with the intent to steal or commit criminal damage, etc is a criminal offence.


 


At 0026hrs on Sunday, 21 October 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a phone call from an unknown female that a fight had broken out in the Narrows Bar.  Officers attended and found everything in order.
