St Helena : St. Helena Increases Income Related Benefits

A proposal to increase Income Related Benefits was considered by the Executive Council yesterday. Council advised that payments of Income Related Benefits should be increased with retrospective effect from 1 April 2007

INCREASE IN INCOME RELATED BENEFITS


 


A proposal to increase Income Related Benefits was considered by the Executive Council yesterday.  Council advised that payments of Income Related Benefits should be increased with retrospective effect from 1 April 2007.


 


Funding for this increase is provided for in the Employment and Social Security Department’s budget for this financial year.


 


The last increase in Income Related Benefits was in 2005.
