Sergeant Tom Whistler of the Royal Falkland Islands Police updates us on the latest police activity.


 


At 2254hrs on Friday, 24 August 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received information via a 999 call that there was an RTA at Moody Brook.  There was a report of a possible neck injury so Fire and Rescue, an ambulance and the Royal Falkland Islands Police responded.  Ond driver was cut out of his vehicle by the Fire and Rescue Service and he is now helping police with their enquiries.


 


At 1405hrs on Saturday, 25 August 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of an RTA where one occupant of the vehicle dialled 999.  Police, Fire and Rescue and an ambulance responded and cut a suspected injured person from the vehicle.  Persons are helping the police with their enquiries.


 


At 2204hrs on Saturday, 25 August 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of the theft of heating fuel from an address at Fieldhouse Close.  If anyone in the area has information on this incident, or indeed is a victim of fuel theft, please give Sergeant Whistler a call on 28100.


 


At 0123hrs on Sunday, 26 August 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a 999 call about a horse laying down in the vicinity of the Lady Elizabeth.    The animal appeared to be in a lot of pain.  The on call vet, the horse’s owner were tasked to the scene and by 1020hrs all was OK – including the horse.
