FALKLANDS LOSS IS NEW ZEALAND’S GAIN

By J. Brock (FINN)

Debbie Summers from Sulivan Travel, has taken up a Senior Management  position in New Zealand Tourism.  Her appointment was discussed at a meeting of the Directors of the Falkland Islands Tourist Board on Wednesday 18th July

The Falkland Islands Tourist Board has said it is grateful for the contribution that Debbie made to the Falkland’s Tourist Industry whilst on the Board of FITB and in her capacity at Sullivan Shipping Ltd. The Board also welcomed Debbie’s continued support through membership of FITB and her offer to keep FITB abreast of what is happening in New Zealand Tourism.

In view of this the FITB decided to proceed with recruiting a General Manager to deal with the many pressing Falklands Tourism matters over the next two years.

This will open up the opportunity for local applicants to take part in running Falklands Tourism in the future.
