Gap Students enjoy a game of snooker on the day begore they left for Camp.

Five Gap year students have arrived in Stanley from the UK on yesterday’s Tristar. They have been spending the day in Stanley while learning where the bank, Post Office, Police Station and gift shops are. In the morning they went to the Waterfront Guest house and met the other members of the media. FINN caught up with them at the Lookout Lodge.

On Wednesday, Jack Cousins, from Oxford, will be placed at Philomel Farm near Fox Bay. Andy Baker, from Huddersfield, will be heading to Swan Inlet and Grant Sowerby, from County Durham and Josh Barton from North Carolina in the United States will work at Goose Green. Simon Parsons, from Oxford, will head west to West Lagoons Farm.

All five are looking forward to their stay in the Falklands and are expected to adapt quickly to life here.
