Sergeant Dave Roberts of the Royal Falkland Islands Police updates us on the latest police activity.


 


At 1545hrs on Tuesday, 10 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of several men from a stricken Taiwanese Jigger walking from the west end of the quarry to the abattoir.  The EOD, Falkland Islands Defence Force and Police Officers responded.  The men were located and claimed they were looking for work.


 


At 1554hrs on Wednesday, 11 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a minor road traffic accident opposite the Stanley Services Limited service station where a vehicle reversed into a post.  The incident is being dealt with through insurance.


 


At 1636hrs on Wednesday, 11 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of children kicking a ball against a house on St. Mary’s Walk.  Police officers attended and spoke to the youths.


 


At 0923hrs on Thursday, 12 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of damage to a vehicle on Eliza Cove Road.  The incident is under investigation and if you have information on this incident, please give Sergeant Roberts a call on 27222.


 


At 1418hrs on Thursday, 12 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of damage to a vehicle on Ross Road East.  The incident is under investigation and if anyone has information please give Sergeant Roberts a call on 27222.


 


At 2100hrs on Thursday, 12 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of youths on Victory Green playing with an orange traffic light.  No other information is available.


 


At 2219hrs on Thursday, 12 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of damage to a vehicle on Ross Road East.  The incident is under investigation and if anyone has information about it please give Sergeant Roberts a call on 27222.


 


At 0017hrs on Friday, 13 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of damage to a vehicle n Felton Court.  If anyone has information about this incident please give Sergeant Roberts a call on 27222.


 


At 0023hrs on Friday, 13 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a request for medical assistance on Callaghan Road.  KEMH Staff dealt with the incident.


 


At 1948hrs on Friday, 13 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of theft of property from Anderson Drive.  (No further information available).


 


At 0150hrs on Saturday, 14 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of timber blowing around on Ross Road.  The Fire and Rescue Department dealt with the incident.


 


At 2355hrs on Saturday, 14 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a request for an ambulance on Ross Road East.  KEMH Staff dealt with the incident.


 


At 1222hrs in Sunday, 15 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a minor road traffic accident at the junction of Philomel Street and Crozier Place.  The matter is being dealt with via insurance.


 


At 1105hrs on Monday, 16 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of someone driving into a vehicle at the Capstan Car Park.  The incident is under investigation and if anyone has information they can give Sergeant Roberts a call on 27222.


 


At 0705hrs on Tuesday, 17 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report from a Taiwanese Jigger that had struck rocks at Volunteer Point.  The Duty Officer at the Fisheries Department was alerted as well as the Joint Operations Centre at Mount Pleasant.


 


At 1030hrs on Tuesday, 17 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of damage to the sign at the Brasserie.  The incident is under investigation and if anyone has information they can give Sergeant Roberts a call on 27222.


 


At 1158hrs on Tuesday, 17 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a single vehicle road traffic accident at Port Harriet.  There were no injuries.


 


At 1703 and 1705hrs on Wednesday, 18 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a disturbance outside the Capstan Gift Shop.  Officers attended and gave people verbal warnings about their behaviour.


 


At 2129hrs on Wednesday, 18 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a request for medical assistance at Johnson’s Harbour.  KEMH Staff dealt with the incident.


 


At 2203hrs on Wednesday, 18 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a request for assistance at the Upland Goose Hotel.  The Fire and rescue service dealt with the incident.
