Sergeant Dave Roberts of the Royal Falkland Islands Police updates us on the latest police activity.


 


At 1917hrs on Monday, 02 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a vehicle leaking fuel on Hebe Street.  Officers attended and discovered the leak was hydraulic fluid and that the owner was dealing with the situation.


 


At 2224hrs on Monday, 02 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of damage to a vehicle.  No other information is available on this incident.


 


At 1225hrs on Wednesday, 04 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report off a motorcycle making excessive noise  a report on the same vehicle was later received at 1228hrs.


 


A Press Release on the discovery of a body found on the 4th off April has not yet been received from the Royal Falkland Islands Police.


 


At 1204hrs on Wednesday, 04 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a vehicle being driven erratically on the Bypass Road.  This incident is under investigation.


 


At 1221hrs on Wednesday, 04 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of the same vehicle being driven erratically on the Bypass Road.


 


At 1919hrs on Thursday, 05 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a medivac flight to land on the Football Pitch.  Medical staff dealt with the incident.


 


At 0834hrs on Friday, 06 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a request for medical and fire and rescue services as a person was trapped at Gordon Lines.


 


At 0936hrs on Friday, 06 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a mine that had surfaced in one of the minefields.  EOD dealt with the incident.


 


At 1025hrs on Friday, 06 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report off theft from a vehicle.  The incident is still under investigation and if anyone has information on this incident they can call Sergeant Roberts on 27222.


 


At 2022hrs on Friday, 06 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of an accident ˝ mile from the Mt. Kent Turn-off.  Two people received minor injuries and were transported to the KEMH.


 


At 2220hrs on Friday, 06 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a disturbance at the St. Mary’s Walk Play Park.  Police Officers attended and found nothing.


 


At 2328hrs on Friday, 06 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a person lying in the road on John Street.  Police Officers attended and told the person to move on.


 


At 1845hrs on Saturday, 07 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a single vehicle road traffic accident on the Stanley to Darwin Road.  The Joint Services Police Services Unit dealt with the incident.


 


At 2229hrs on Saturday, 07 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a request for assistance at Deano’s Bar where a person refused to leave.


 


At 1756hrs on Monday, 09 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of two people swimming in the harbour.  Police attended and spoke to the people about health and safety issues.  Details of the people were taken.


 


At 1959hrs on Monday, 09 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of the theft of a pushbike


 


At 2006hrs on Monday, 09 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of another theft of a pushbike.


 


At 1120hrs on Tuesday, 10 April 2007 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report that EOD would be using Redfire to dispose off an exposed mine at “Boot Hill” or Minefield No. 36.
