Falklands : Way forward project extensive but worth it
Submitted by Falkland Islands News Network (Nathan Prince) 27.09.2002 (Article Archived on 25.10.2002)

The recent Way Forward course that was run has raised many questions; such as the cost and who it would benefit.

Way forward project extensive but worth itDirector of Agriculture, Peter Johnstone replied to these and said that even though the course was expensive, farmers were encouraged to take part as part of the project, with the money coming out of the existing DOA budget. He said that they were not given any extra money and had to cut back on other things within the Department. The same course will be run next year, with many farmers being encouraged to take part.
