Sergeant Dave Roberts of the Royal Falkland Islands Police updates us on the latest Police activity.


 


At 2046hrs on Tuesday, 17 October 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of persons lighting fires on Arch Green.  Officers attended and one person was given a verbal warning about their behaviour.


 


At 1716hrs on Wednesday, 18 October 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a theft of property from Shorty’s Diner.  The items were later returned and the Police took no further action.


 


At 0950hrs on Thursday, 19 October 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of the EOD destroying a block of TNT and a detonator west of Sappers Hill.


 


At 1513hrs on Friday, 20 October 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of persons entering the grounds of a property on Fitzroy Road.  Officers attended and found no one but the area is being kept under surveillance. 


 


At 2000hrs on Friday, 20 October 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a request for medical assistance on Brandon Road.  Medical staff were tasked to the incident.


 


At 0154hrs on Saturday, 21 October 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of three possibly missing persons on the Stanley to Darwin Road.  The people in question were located safe and well at 0315hrs.


 


At 0914hrs on Saturday, 21 October 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of damage to property on Philomel Street.  The incident is under investigation and if anyone has any information, please give Sergeant Roberts a call on 27222.


 


At 1307hrs on Saturday, 21 October 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report from a concerned member of the public that something wasn’t right t an address in Stanley.  Officers attended and found the subject person safe and well.


 


At 1910hrs on Saturday, 21 October 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a request for medical assistance at the Globe Tavern.  Medical Staff were sent to deal with the incident.


 


At 0915hrs on Sunday, 22 October 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a chimney fire on John Street.  The Fire and Rescue Service were sent to deal with the incident.


 


At 1626hrs on Sunday, 22 October 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of damage caused by one vehicle passing another on an unpaved section of the Stanley to Darwin Road.  The Royal Falkland Islands Police would like to remind motorists to pass other vehicles with care on unpaved roads and to take caution about causing debris damage to other vehicles.


 


At 1829hrs on Sunday, 22 October 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a request for assistance at a residence on Ross Road East.  The Fire and Rescue Service dealt with the incident.
