Sergeant Dave Roberts of the Royal Falkland Islands Police updates us on the latest police activity.


 


At 1855hrs on Tuesday, 13 June 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a damaged vehicle that was parked on Dean Street.  The damage occurred sometime between 0130hrs and 1430 hrs on the day.  The incident is under investigation and anyone with information can call Sgt. Roberts on 27222.


 


At 2322hrs on Wednesday, 14 June 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a vehicle in a storm drain by FIPASS.  The incident is under investigation and anyone with info can call Sgt. Roberts on 27222.


 


At 0006hrs on Thursday, 15 June 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of an assault.  Three people are now helping police with their enquiries.


 


At 1720hrs on Friday, 16 June 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of the theft of a push-bike from outside the Falkland Islands Community School.  The bike was later recovered.  The Royal Falkland Islands Police would like to remind all bike owners to secure their bikes when they are not in use.  The police have in storage a considerable number of unclaimed bikes that will be sold for charity if they are not claimed within three months.  An announcement will be made before the sale takes place.


 


At 2347hrs on Friday, 16 June 2006 Royal Falkland Islands Police Officers came upon a disturbance on Philomel Street.  Two men were given a public order warning.


 


At 2357hrs on Friday, 16 June 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of another disturbance on Philomel Street.  Ine person received a verbal warning.


 


At 1911hrs on Saturday, 17 June 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a disturbance on Philomel Street.  Police Officers attended and gave one person a verbal warning about his behaviour.


 


At 0004hrs on Sunday, 18 June 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a disturbance on Philomel Street.  One person was arrested.


 


At 0405hrs on Sunday, 18 June 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of damage to a vehicle parked on Fieldhouse Close.  The incident is under investigation and people with information can call Sgt. Roberts on 27222.


 


At 1717hrs on Sunday, 18 June 2006 the Royal Falkland Islands Police received a report of a length of rope strung across the road opposite the Leisure Centre.  The rope was removed by Officers.
