POLICE E-MAIL ADDRESS TO HELP COMMUNITY

By J. Brock (FINN)

If you need to chat with Police about a confidential matter, then why not do it on line?  The Royal Falkland Islands Police have an e-mail address that you can access for a private and confidential chat about a wide variety of sensitive topics.

This e-mail address provides a ‘safe’ means of communication that anyone can use, to contact the RFIP about anything without worrying about speaking to some one or being embarrassed about getting your words wrong.

You can use it to ask the RFIP a question, i.e. ‘what is the legal age for smoking?’

Or

You could use it to ask for help, i.e. ‘I’m being bullied please help?’

Or

You could pass on information, so what ever your question, worry, or information you will not be contacted directly.   You will generate an automatic response and may later, depending on your e-mail’s content, receive advice from the ‘safe’ address.

The ‘safe’ e-mail address is: safe@police.gov.fk
