Auctions

There were no auctions in Australia this week due to the Easter recess.  The EMI opens next week at 728 A cents.

This week in New Zealand, the Merino Indicator was not quoted. The Mid-micron Indicator was quoted down 49 cents on the fortnight to 600 NZ cents.  The Fine Crossbred Indicator (33-35µ) was down 13 cents to 392 NZ cents and the Coarse Crossbred Indicator (35.1+µ) moved down  11 cents on the week to 344 cents.  The Lamb Indicator lost eight cents this week to close at 376 NZ cents.  The NZ dollar being 3.5% stronger against the US dollar and up 1.5-2% against other major currencies precipitated the NZ decline.
